PhD Student in Cyber Security Engineering
Tarikul Islam Tamiti
I research generative AI, speech/audio signal processing, and cyber-physical system security, with a focus on reconstructing intelligible high-frequency audio from vibration and pressure-sensor data.
About
Academic profile
I am a PhD student in the Department of Cyber Security Engineering at George Mason University, working with Dr. Anomadarshi Barua in the System Design and Security Lab.
My work sits at the intersection of generative AI, speech and audio signal processing, and cyber-physical system security. I develop models that reconstruct intelligible high-frequency audio from ultra-low-frequency vibration and pressure-sensor data, with applications in system security, assistive technologies, and side-channel analysis.
